América are said to be considering the sale of Pedro Aquino after receiving a significant offer for the Peruvian midfielder.
According to Récord journalist Victor Díaz, a $7m offer has been made for the player. However, Las Águilas are cautious of letting the Peruvian international leave due to his importance in the centre of the park.
Previously linked with a move to the Premier League, Aquino had landed himself in hot water with the Azulcrema faithful last year by playing against the advice of the club’s medical staff and subsequently aggravating an injury.
Aquino only arrived from León 12 months ago and has featured 36 times for Santiago Solari’s side.
América recently added Jonathan Dos Santos from LA Galaxy and are said to be working on two more signings before the end of the window, including Paul Arriola from D.C. United.
