Paris Saint-Germain and Amiens SC have reached an agreement for Noha Lemina (18) on a loan deal with an option to buy.
The attacking midfielder, who is currently on loan in Italy to Sampdoria, will be unlikely to finish the season for the Serie B club. Lemina has had a frustrating spell abroad, having only featured once for Andrea Pirlo’s side, back in August.
This lone appearance totalling only 16 minutes of football has led to renewed interest from clubs in France over the young prospect, with L’Équipe reporting that Amiens are the best-placed team to capitalise on Lemina’s disappointing time in Italy.
The fifth-place side in Ligue 2 have already negotiated a deal with PSG, but this will not stop other clubs from attempting to hijack an agreement for the player before the end of the transfer window on Thursday.
Lemina had been the subject of interest from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the window, while Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga were thought to be ready to lodge a bid for the highly-rated prospect.
