Morocco manager Walid Regragui is looking to bolster the options at his disposal by winning over several dual nationals and enticing them to opt for the Atlas Lions, according to L’Équipe‘s Nabil Djellit.

The first of these is Bayer Leverkusen winger Amine Adli, who joined two years ago from Toulouse. A French youth international, Adli has four goals and five assists this season for the German side, who currently side 6th in the Bundesliga table. He could reportedly make his decision after the U21 Euros this summer, which he is expected play with Les Bleuets. Nice’s Sofiane Diop is also set to make his decision after the tournament, although Senegal are the favourites to secure his allegiance.

Brahim Díaz, a Champions League semi-finalist this season with Milan, is also being targeted. The Real Madrid loanee is still eligible to make the switch, having made just the one appearance in a friendly match for Spain. Regragui travelled to Italy a couple of months ago to speak to the attacking midfielder.

Also in Morocco’s sights is Monaco’s rising star Eliesse Ben Seghir, who is currently a French youth international but could be tempted with a guaranteed spot in the Atlas Lions’ senior squad. The Moroccan football authorities are also pushing for Real Sociedad forward Mohamed-Ali Cho, who has already turned out for England and France at youth level.
