Anderlecht will have a purchase option at the end of Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito’s one-season loan move worth €10 million, whilst the Nerazzurri will retain a buy-back clause worth €1 million more than that.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 19-year-old is set to complete the loan move, and that the clubs have agreed on the terms for the move to potentially be made a permanent one.
Esposito spent last season on loan with Basel, and while the Swiss club were not in a financial position to make the deal permanent per the purchase option in the loan deal, they had asked about signing him on loan again at the same terms.
However, the Nerazzurri are more inclined towards a deal with a different club, and Anderlecht have stepped forward to win the race for Esposito and present a potential future for him on a permanent basis.
