Another Barcelona star ‘has committed to a new contract’ | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have reached a verbal agreement with another of the club’s key performers, regarding a contract renewal.

The subject of contract extensions has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last week.

This comes after two members of Hansi Flick’s squad were tied down to fresh terms.

First up came Ronald Araújo, before fellow defender Gerard Martín quickly followed suit on Friday.

And, as alluded to above, 24 hours on, confirmation of an accord being reached over the renewal of a third Blaugrana star has also arrived.

The player in question? Pedri

As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘The verbal agreement for Pedri’s new deal at Barcelona is done and the contract will be valid until June 2030. Final formal details to be sorted with his agents soon. But Pedri has already committed to new deal.’
