Manchester United winger Antony is set for a spell on the sidelines after scans confirmed an ankle sprain for the 24-year-old.

The Brazilian was stretchered off the pitch on Thursday during his side’s Europa League draw with Fenerbahçe.

United now make the trip to West Ham on Sunday without his talents, though it’s yet to be determined when he will return.

The hope is that Antony is not ruled out long-term, as Erik ten Hag needs all available talent to move up the table.

United currently sit 13th in the Premier League.
