Richard Keys has issued a prediction about Nottingham Forest while praising the Tricky Trees for their impressive start to the season.
Nuno’s men are flying in the Premier League and sit a lofty third, moving past Arsenal at the weekend after Mikel Arteta’s men lost at Newcastle United and Forest beat West Ham United.
Many felt Nottingham Forest would be battling the drop this season, but the have defied expectations and some Reds fans are starting to dream.
Keys is an admirer of what Nuno has done at Nottingham Forest so far this term, but insists that the Tricky Trees will not finish anywhere near their current placing.
He also tipped his hat to Forest hitman Chris Wood, who has eight Premier League goals to his name, powering his side’s good form.
“And more credit where it’s due – well played Forest”, Keys wrote on his blog.
“Well played Chris Wood – again. What a season he’s having.
“Forest won’t finish anywhere near the position they hold now, but for the time being they should enjoy what they’re doing.”
Nottingham Forest will next welcome Newcastle United to the City Ground in the Premier League in what will provide another tough test of how far they can go.
