Arsenal defender Ben White has missed out on the trip to Preston North End tonight due to load management but Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber are with the rest of the squad, according to Con Harrison.

White featured for 90 minutes in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Sunday but will now get a deserved rest in the round of 16 of the Carabao Cup against the Championship club.

Saka was withdrawn in the 85th minute for Gabriel Jesus as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta opted to rest him after he missed the two games heading into the game due to an injury.

Timber was forced off in the 76th minute against the Reds due to a knock, with Myles Lewis-Skelly replacing him, but he is now fit and available to face PNE.

Arsenal made several changes in the last round of the competition against Bolton Wanderers, with several of the academy players getting the chance to play and feature in the matchday squad.

The Gunners strolled to a 5-1 victory in that game and will be looking forward to another straightforward game tonight.
