Arsenal announce forward to depart club this summer | OneFootball

Lina Hurtig will leave Arsenal when her contract expires this summer, the club have confirmed via their website.

The 29-year-old arrived in North London in 2022, having signed from Juventus, but a series of injuries have limited her game time and the forward missed much of the 2024/25 season for personal reasons.

During her time at Arsenal, Hurtig made 36 appearances and scored seven goals as the Gunners picked up two Women’s League Cup trophies. She scored twice this season, including the only goal in a slender 1-0 victory over Juventus in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Hurtig could yet add another medal to her collection later this month, with Arsenal set to face Barcelona in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final on Saturday 24 May at Lisbon’s Estádio José Alvalade.
