Paris Saint-Germain gave serious thought to signing Christopher Nkunku during the winter transfer window but ultimately chose not to move forward. Although he remained at Chelsea, signs now point to a possible departure this summer.

Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but injuries and competition have kept him from locking down a regular spot in the starting lineup, fueling talk about his future at Stamford Bridge.

Journalist Ben Jacobs previously noted that PSG had explored the idea of bringing Nkunku back, though they never submitted an official bid.

Bayern Munich also passed on making a move in January, but per Sport Bild’s Christian Falk, the German champions might revisit their interest in the coming months.

According to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins, Christopher Nkunku wants to leave Chelsea. Arsenal and Bayern Munich showed interest in January and are expected to circle back this summer.

A recent GIVE ME SPORT report suggests Nkunku is likely to leave Chelsea this summer, as he’s already exploring potential moves.

Despite getting extended chances during Nicolas Jackson’s injury spell, Nkunku has struggled to find form, and the report says he’s accepted his continued issues in the final third.

He’s now looking for a club with a playing style that better suits his strengths, having yet to settle into a defined role in Chelsea’s system.
