Arsenal have been hit by another injury problem as they train in Dubai as a result of some rare time off.

The Gunners were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle last week but their 5-1 win over Manchester City before that means they remain six points behind Arne Slot’s leaders.

They also have the a Champions League last-16 tie on the horizon.

Arsenal had the weekend off after being knocked out of the FA Cup and Mikel Arteta hopes the mini-break will refresh his squad for their pursuit of Liverpool.

But the Arsenal boss has a fresh injury concern ahead of a key run of games, with Kai Havertz the latest scare.

Here’s a look at the latest Arsenal injuries

Kai Havertz

Arsenal have potentially been hit by a disastrous injury blow in attack.

After the club did not recruit in the January transfer window, it left Kai Havertz as the only fit senior striker at the club, bu he too could now face a spell on the sidelines.

Havertz has suffered a muscle problem in training in Dubai and will now be assessed in the coming days, ahead of this weekend’s trip to Leicester.

Potential return date: Unknown

Gabriel Martinelli

Gabriel Martinelli injured his hamstring in the defeat at Newcastle.

Arteta confirmed Martinelli was set for a scan and reports suggest the Brazilian is facing more than a month out.

That would mean Martinelli would miss Premier League fixtures against Leicester, West Ham and Nottingham Forest, and make his a doubt for games against Manchester United on March 9 and Chelsea on March 16.

Martinelli is also a doubt for the first leg of Arsenal’s Champions League last-16, whoever they are drawn against.

Potential return date: March/April 2025

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka underwent hamstring surgery in December and has not featured since, with Arsenal fearing he could be ruled out until March.

Saka was included in the squad who travelled to Dubai, with Arteta inviting injury players on the trip to continue their rehab there.

Fresh reports over the weekend claimed Saka is due back at the start of March.

The Gunners are said to be targeting their Champions League last 16 first leg on either March 4 or 5, or their trip to Manchester United on March 9.

But Arteta is unlikely to take any risks by rushing Saka back too soon.

Potential return date: March

Ben White

Ben White has not featured since undergoing surgery on a knee injury back in November.

But the defender returned to Arsenal training in Dubai and there is a hope he will be able to feature against Leicester this weekend.
