Lamine Yamal has been drawing praise from all quarters this week after putting in a stellar display for FC Barcelona in their 3-3 draw against Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The 17-year-old La Masia sensation was the standout player on the night at Montjuic, scoring a sensational solo goal before hitting the woodwork on two separate occasions while causing all sorts of problems to the Nerazzurri defence.
The likes of Erling Haaland, Thierry Henry, and Rio Ferdinand, among several others, have come out in praise of Yamal, with the latter even tipping him to win the Ballon d’Or this year.
Now, Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka has heaped praise on the Barcelona teenager, expressing his awe and amazement at the level that the youngster has shown at just 17 years old.
“Lamine Yamal? He is unreal. In my life, I have never seen this level of football from a 17-year-old. What can we say about what he does…,” said Saka during an interview with Sky Sports.

Given the things that the La Masia sensation has been doing on the pitch this season, the praise is more than well-deserved.
Just 17 years old, Lamine is spearheading Barcelona’s treble challenge having registered an amazing 15 goals and 24 assists from 49 appearances in all competitions.
The appearance against Inter Milan on Wednesday was Lamine’s 100th for the Barcelona first team while the goal that he scored made him the youngest player to find the back of the net in a UEFA Champions League semi-final tie.
The sky is the limit for this young sensation, who could very well become the youngest Ballon d’Or winner in the near future given the trajectory his career is taking.
