Arsenal host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend, aiming to end a four-game winless run.
Mikel Arteta has seen his side’s title challenge stumble after four games without a win, a run that has seen Arsenal drop to fourth in the table.
This weekend’s opponents have been the surprise package of the season so far and sit fifth, behind the Gunners on goal difference. Having been backed to be involved in the relegation battle, high-flying Forest have had a superb start under Nuno Espirito Santo. Forest have the second-best defensive record in the division this season, behind leaders Liverpool.
The clash could hinge on set-pieces. The teams ranked joint-second (Arsenal) and joint-first (Nottingham Forest) for set-piece goals scored in 2024/25.
Arsenal should have Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka available for the clash with Forest despite the duo withdrawing from the England squad this month. Leandro Trossard picked up a knock while representing Belgium in the Nations League and will be assessed.
The Gunners were dealt a blow after Ben White was required to go under surgery this month. The full-back will not return before the end of 2024.
However, Riccardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Kieran Tierney are nearing returns with the latter back in training.
Arsenal predicted XI: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Martinelli, Havertz.
Arsenal host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday 23rd November 2024. Kick-off at the Emirates is 3pm GMT.
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest will not be broadcast live in the UK.
