AS Monaco ‘anticipating’ departure of Tottenham target Vanderson | OneFootball

Whilst AS Monaco prepare to welcome Jordan Teze (24) to the club, they could yet lose a player that would be in direct competition with the Dutchman – Vanderson (23).

The Brazil international, who joined Monaco in January 2022 from Gremio, has been a regular starter for Les Monégasques over the past two and a half seasons. However, his time at the club could be coming to an end, amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Foot Mercato understands that Teze’s imminent €12m arrival is in anticipation of Vanderson’s exit, potentially to Tottenham, the most closely linked club to the right-back. Once the Dutchman’s arrival is confirmed, and it is thought to be imminent with a medical booked in the coming hours, it could speed up talks regarding Vanderson’s touted departure.

The Brazilian featured and registered an assist in the Principality club’s Ligue 1 opening-day victory over newly-promoted AS Saint-Étienne on Saturday evening.
