Ascot United, Bromley and Fleet Town went top of Regional League tables, while Poulton Vics completed a dozen straight wins and Ossett United ten in a row.
EASTERN – Bowers bounce into third spot
Premier – Bowers & Pitsea jumped three places to third with a 2-0 defeat of Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers, in which Olivia Harris and substitute Abigail Woollvin got the goals. Enfield Town won 2-1 at Needham Market to go level on points with fifth-placed Stevenage.
1 South – Zoe Rushen struck four times in Chelmsford City’s 5-1 result at Stanway Pegasus, as they went third in the table.
League Plate 2nd Round – Cambridge City won 3-1 on penalties at AFC Dunstable after a 1-1 deadlock, Hertford Town eliminated Kings Lynn Town 7-1, while Southend United had a walkover against Whittlesey Athletic.
EAST MIDLANDS – Gainsborough Trinity win top-of-the-table clash
Premier – Chesterfield Ladies beat Stamford with goals by Eleanor Abercrombie and Imogen Fowler, to go above them and into second position. Anstey Nomads’ Annie Baines, Analeice Wilkes and Milly Wortley each bagged a brace in a 6-1 win at Ilkeston Town which lifted them into fifth.
1 Central – Beaumont Park beat Brookside Athletic 4-2 after a 3-0 interval lead, to secure a second win of the season.
1 North – Gainsborough Trinity opened up an eight-point lead at the top, as Grace Jones hit a hat-tick in the 4-2 victory at second-placed Grimsby Town. Dronfield Town are third following a 5-2 win at Notts County Development in which Charlotte Bennehan scored twice, Belper Town’s 4-1 beating of Buxton was helped by an Alice Faulding brace.
1 South – Northampton Town Development ended the unbeaten start of leaders New Bradwell St Peter, scoring the only goal of the game. Cardea went down 1-0 at home to Dunton & Broughton United after the dismissal of Orthodoxia Houtri, Emily Miles’ effort making the difference.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Bromley replace Brentford in pole position
Premier – Dorking Wanderers went third and Barking fourth, as the former edged Millwall Lionesses 1-0 and the latter hit Newhaven for six.
1 North – Bromley took top spot from Brentford with all three goals of the game at Hackney, Denham United are third on goal-difference after defeating Leatherhead 6-1, while Richmond & Kew were 3-0 winners over Ashmount Leigh.
1 South – Bognor Regis Town are within two points of leaders Saltdean United Development with a game in hand, after beating Montpelier Villa 4-0 with Millie Carter at the double. Soccer Elite Football Academy’s Daisy Regnier scored in a 1-1 draw with Bexhill United, Poppy Harrod netting for the visitors.
NORTH EAST – Ossett United extend winning start to tenth game
Premier – Alnwick Town’s 3-0 win over Harrogate Town placed them within two points of leaders Chester le Street Town, Ponteland United are third following a 4-1 win against Wallsend BC that saw subs Kylie Holmes and Abbie Blackwood amongst the goals.
1 North – Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves won 5-1 at Gateshead to increase their advantage at the top, as Chester le Street Amazons got out of the relegation zone when holding second-placed Thornaby 1-1. Chester le Street United’s Lily West got a couple in the 3-1 victory at Wallsend BC Reserves that put them just a point behind their third-placed hosts, Bishop Auckland beat Hartlepool United 2-0.
1 South – Ossett United made it ten wins from ten with six different scorers in the 6-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday.
NORTH WEST – Perfect dozen for Poulton
Premier – Darwen lead by three points after scoring four unanswered goals at Bury, Wythenshawe sent Curzon Ashton to a 6-1 defeat as they leapfrogged them and went second. Tranmere Rovers are third after a 3-0 win over West Didsbury & Chorlton, Salford City mid-table after taking the points 2-1 at Crewe Alexandra.
1 North – Penrith are goal-difference behind leaders Bolton Wanderers but from two games more after Sharena Robinson’s goal at Workington Town, Morecambe climbed out of the drop zone with a 7-3 sinking of Haslingden.
1 South – Poulton Vics made it a dozen straight wins with a 7-1 result against Macclesfield FC, in which Katy Beattie netted four times. Wigan Athletic went fourth after a 6-2 success at MSB Woolton, who had Alisha Graves sent off. Chester’s 3-1 win over Warrington Town featured a Chenai Lefebvre brace and crowd of 173, Ellesmere Port Town’s Jenny Rogers found the net four times in a 7-1 win at Wirral Phoenix.
SOUTHERN – Ascot United back on top
Premier – Ascot United went from third to first, as Olivia Glover and Leah Littlechild shared the four goals at Sholing. Winchester City Flyers were 3-2 winners over Selsey, with Kayleigh Tonks grabbing the decider.
1 North – Four of Ascot United Reserves’ five subs scored in a 7-1 win over Caversham United, leaving the hosts just two points behind leaders Beaconsfield Town.
1 South – Fleet Town took over at the top from Havant & Waterlooville with a seventh win in a row, Amy Granger at the double in a 3-2 win at Bursledon. AFC Stoneham are second on goal-difference although having played two games more, Abbie Awdas and Imogen Mullins scoring in the win over Woking.
REGEN ARABLE SOUTH WEST – Gloucester City win only game to survive Storm Bert
1 North – Gloucester City netted nine against SGS Olveston United, Sachiko Kaneko-Grun scoring four in their eighth win on the spin.
WEST MIDLANDS – Droitwich Spa stun Halesowen Town
Premier – Alvechurch drew 3-3 with Lye Town as the visitors went second, Burton Albion closed in on Leek Town after beating them 5-2 away.
1 North – Lichfield City’s 6-0 defeat of Tamworth was their third straight win, while Rugby Town and AFC Telford United played out a goalless draw.
1 South – Droitwich Spa ended Halesowen Town’s unbeaten run with a 6-3 scoreline that brought them only a second win in ten.
