Caio Henrique (AS Monaco) moved up to fourth place on the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assists chart - one place behind third-placed Jonathan Clauss (OM) - with a brace of assists in Round 30.

The danger is growing for Jonathan Clauss. The OM right-back has been unable to conjure an assist since R23 and his place in the top three on the assists chart is under threat after Caio Henrique's superb performance in Round 30. Meanwhile, at the top of the table, Lionel Messi took another step towards becoming the assists leader for 2022-23 by adding to his lead at the top. Record breaker

Caio Henrique's two crucial corners at Nantes were a major boost to his standing in the assists picture. The AS Monaco left-back now has nine assists to his name this season, and has moved up to fourth place - just one point off third-placed Jonathan Clauss. A specialist in the genre, Henrique has delivered six assists from set-pieces (four from corners and two from indirect free-kicks) - that's more than any other player in Europe's top five this season. The defender is the first Monegasque to have bagged two assists in one league game since... himself, against OL on 11 September 2022 (also two). With eight games left to play this season, he has already beaten his single-season record from last year (eight). Messi moves closer to the title Lionel Messi also made his mark at the weekend, hitting his 14th assist of the season - his first from a set-piece - in Nice. With Neymar injured and out for the rest of the season, PSG's Argentine now has a commanding lead at the top of the table, four lengths clear of Jonathan Clauss. In 30 games, La Pulga has already equalled his total from last season. The striker has scored and assisted in the same league game on six occasions this season - the highest total in Europe's top five. Maxence Caqueret, who provided his sixth assist, is now in the top ten (tenth).
