A former Atletico Madrid player, the 27-year-old spent the majority of his time with Atleti out on loan, netting 23 goals for Real Zaragoza in 2014/15.
His 18 goals for Eibar the following season prompted Swansea to part with over £15 million for his services in the summer of 2016.
