Morgan Rogers has signed a new contract with Aston Villa that promises to keep him remain with the Premier League outfit until 2030.
The attacking midfielder, who joined Villa from Championship side Middlesborough in February, has penned a new contract after enjoying an impressive start to life under Unai Emery. The 22-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the 2024/25 campaign, netting three goals in 11 league appearances.
His success at club level saw him earn a call-up to interim England manager Lee Carsley's final squad, featuring in wins over Greece and the Republic of Ireland earlier this month.
Rogers' impressive form at Villa has placed him among some of the best attacking midfielders in world football, shifting from his previous wide role to thrive in the Premier League.
He's also enjoyed inspiring showings in the Champions League this season, offering an assist against Bologna to help Villa earn their top eight spot in the new tournament standings. Villa sit in a similar position in the Premier League, slipping to 9th after defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
They return to action on Saturday, facing Crystal Palace. Villa will hope to improve on their last clash with the south London side, falling to a 2-1 defeat in the Carabao Cup at the end of October.
