Sky Germany reports that Atalanta striker El Bilal Touré is set to join VfB Stuttgart on loan, which will include a buy option.

The loan will be a one-year loan that will cost €2.75m, while the buy option in the loan agreement is said to be worth €16.5m but will only become mandatory if certain conditions are met. Fabrizio Romano reports that Atalanta will have a 15% sell-on clause.

After the arrivals of Ermedin Demirovic and Deniz Undav earlier in the window, Stuttgart had always planned to bring in another striker, either to plan alongside the duo or to play as a backup.

The 22-year-old joined Atalanta last summer from then La Liga side Almeria but never set Bergamo a light as he featured 17 times and only scored three. Touré also had to play backup to Gianluca Scamacca and Ademola Lookman.

Stuttgart are likely to still be active in the transfer window this summer as they still look for an alternative for Waldemar Anton who left the MHP Arena earlier in the summer to move to Borussia Dortmund.
