Athletic Club trio back in training ahead of Rangers tie | OneFootball

A whole host of positive news has on Tuesday been confirmed in the first-team setup at La Liga outfit Athletic Club.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of Mundo Deportivo that all of Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta, Yeray Álvarez and Aitor Paredes were involved in training this morning.

The trio of Ruiz de Galarreta, Yeray and Paredes were, until today, all considered major doubts to feature in Athletic’s next outing.

In the case of the former pair, both missed out against Villarreal over the weekend, owing to injury.

Defender Paredes, meanwhile, was forced into a premature departure from the action at La Ceràmica on Sunday.

Just days out from Athletic making the trip to Scotland for the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie with Rangers, all three, as a result, saw their statuses thrown up in the air.

As per the aforementioned MD, though, fans of the Basque outfit need not fret:

‘Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta, Yeray and Paredes are ready for Glasgow. All three trained normally with their teammates upon returning to training following yesterday’s rest day.’
