Atlético Madrid & Chelsea’s double transfer deal confirmed | OneFootball

The long-rumoured transfer deal between La Liga giants Atlético Madrid and their counterparts at Chelsea has on Monday been confirmed.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who, first, has confirmed that Conor Gallagher is at last all set to link up with Diego Simeone’s Atlético squad.

After previously flying out to Madrid to close the deal, he has today been given the green light by Chelsea to do so once more.

This comes with a definitive €42 million agreement in place between the parties.

And, as a result, a 2nd transfer has also been authorised, in the other direction.

After the brass at Chelsea recently turned their attentions towards the return of João Félix following the collapse of their swoop for Samu Omorodion, the Portuguese’s move, too, has this evening received the highly-anticipated ‘here we go’.

As per a 2nd report from Fabrizio Romano:

‘João Félix back to Chelsea, here we go! Deal in place with Atlético Madrid and his agent Jorge Mendes.’

Félix has agreed to the terms of a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with the frontman primed to travel to west London within the next 24/48 hours to undergo medical tests.
