Atletico Madrid defender Nahuel Molina has been diagnosed with a thigh injury after coming off during their match with Real Mallorca this weekend at half-time, but may still make it bak before the end of the season.
The Argentine right-back has struggled this season, and it looked to be a sober ending to the campaign for Molina, with fears that he would initially miss their remaining four games. Yet Marca say the problem is less serious than initially feared, and he will be back after two weeks out.
That does rule him out of all but one of their clashes, missing ties with Getafe, Celta Vigo and Osasuna, but the World Cup-winner could be back for their final match against Real Sociedad at Anoeta. Atletico Madrid have rotated between Molina, Cesar Azpilicueta, Rodrigo Riquelme and Marcos Llorente on the right flank as it is, but will be hoping they have their Champions League place wrapped up by the time Molina is back.
