Atlético Madrid star João Félix is ready to do his part to ensure that his long-rumoured transfer to Premier League giants Chelsea makes its way over the line.

Frontman Félix has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital once more over the course of the last week.

This comes after word was forthcoming that, after pulling the plug on their swoop for Samu Omorodion at the last minute, the aforementioned Chelsea had turned attentions towards a deal for Félix, instead.

Talks, in turn, have since been ongoing between the respective boards at Stamford Bridge, and the Wanda Metropolitano.

And, as alluded to above, over the last 24 hours, the readiness of the Portuguese to play his part in pushing his return to west London through has been detailed.

The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who, during an appearance on ‘Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing‘, confirmed that Félix has made clear that he is prepared to take a considerable cut on his wages, to link back up with Chelsea this summer.
