Having defeated Nice in the Derby on Matchday 27 of Ligue 1, AS Monaco now has five consecutive victories at the Stade Louis II. Here's a look at the statistics that demonstrate the Rouge et Blanc's strength at home.
An increasingly impregnable fortress! If the Principality club has regained its place in second following a win over Nice (2-1), it owes this largely to its performances at the Stade Louis-II. In front of their fans, the Rouge et Blanc continue to maintain their excellent statistics. Here’s a look at what makes AS Monaco so strong at the foot of the Rock. 📊
The figures speak for themselves. Second in the Ligue 1 table, the Principality club occupies the same position if we only consider home matches, just three points behind Paris Saint-Germain (32 points against 35 for PSG). With 15 points taken from a possible 15 in their last five home games in the top flight, the Club has thus continued its excellent momentum since the start of 2025.
As proof, only FC Barcelona, the current La Liga leader and still in the running for the Champions League, is capable of competing with our Monégasques in the five major European leagues (also with 5 wins in a row). This series is all the more significant, as the Rouge et Blanc have not had so many wins in front of their home crowd in a single season since March-May 2022.
On a good ball that Maghnes gave me, I managed to get across my shot well! I was very happy, it was a relief for us and for the whole stadium, because this goal gave us the three points. (...) We wanted to win for the supporters, so I'm happy that we were able to do it!
Breel EmboloOn his winning goal against Nice
The Monegasques maintain this status thanks in part to their formidable offensive power. Indeed, with 33 goals already scored at Fontvieille, AS Monaco remains the second-best home attack in Ligue 1 behind Paris (38).
Adi Hütter’s players have even managed to find the net in each of their last eight matches at the Stade Louis-II. All this, with at least two goals per game, including the biggest victory against Nantes on Matchday 22, with a real attacking display (7-1).
We managed to be ahead 2-1 at halftime and I want to congratulate my team for the five goals scored in the second half. We always played on the front foot, I am once again very happy with the result but also with the attitude and reaction of my players. Over the last three games played at home, we have scored 14 goals, which is a lot.
Moreover, if more than half of Monaco’s goals have been scored since the start of 2025 (19 goals out of 33) winter recruit Mika Biereth has something to do with it. Decisive again against Nice, the Danish striker thus became the first player in history to score 12 goals in his first 10 Ligue 1 matches, making an impression in the process by scoring… three consecutive hat-tricks against Auxerre, Nantes, and Reims!
A key player in this efficiency in the opposition’s box, the newly minted international has enabled the Principality club to be the most decisive team in front of its supporters in the French top flight since the start of the calendar year, with 19 goals already scored at the Stade Louis-II in 2025.
My deflection for Mika? He always positions himself well, so when we serve him, it often goes well with him. Today he scored again, it's great for him! (...) For my part, I am continuing my progression, on the fact of being more and more decisive and helping the team, that's the most important thing for me. Finishing as the best passer in Ligue 1? Why not!
Maghnes AklioucheIn the mixed zone after the Derby
But for there to be a great goalscorer, you necessarily need very good passers. And in this area too, the Rouge et Blanc can rely, among others, on the product of La Diagonale, Maghnes Akliouche, who has already produced eight assists in Ligue 1, including a double of assists for MikaGOAL and Breel Embolo in the Derby. It’s quite simple, out of these eight assists, the Monegasque number 11 has made five in front of his fans, who are also no strangers to the beautiful Monegasque run.
With seven wins now secured in the last eight matches played at the foot of the Rock (21 points taken and 26 goals scored over the period), AS Monaco will be approaching the next clash on its home turf against Olympique de Marseille with confidence.
