Australia and Nigeria have played out, arguably, the best 45 minutes of the Women’s World Cup so far.
The two sides have been going hammer and tongues in the first half, which ended with two goals in stoppage time.
First Emily Van Egmond swept home as the clock struck 45 to give the Aussies what they thought was the lead going into the break.
But with the very last kick of the game in the sixth minute of stoppage time Uchenna Kanu pounced to net an equaliser.
It’s been brilliant, it’s been breathless and we can’t wait for the second half.
