Roma talent Tommaso Baldanzi admits that players understand the fans’ frustration, but they want to have them on their side.
The Giallorossi host Dynamo Kyiv at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday.
They’ll be looking for the first Europa League win this season, having collected just one point in two games so far.
Ivan Juric said Baldanzi would start tomorrow.
“I feel well. I did all the pre-season preparation, and it was important for me,” the Italian midfielder said at a press conference on Wednesday, as quoted by TMW.
“I feel well physically and mentally. Dynamo are a strong side, and we want to do well.”

Matias Soulé hasn’t yet scored or assisted this season. Like Baldanzi, the Argentinean also joined Roma from a club fighting for survival.
“With all the respect due, when you move from a smaller club, you need some time to adapt,” said Baldanzi.
“Soulé has quality; he’s a strong footballer, and he’s settling in. Surely, he can do very well.”
Roma fans are furious with the owners and staged a protest in the opening 15 minutes of their latest game against Inter. How are the players dealing with this situation?
“To be fair, we think about games. We understand the fans because the moment is not perfect,” Baldanzi admitted.
“We want to bring them on our side, but we can only do it with performances.”
Juric’s predecessor,r Daniele De Ross,i slightly changed Baldanzi’s position, using the Italian talent as a box-to-box midfielder rather thanan attacking midfielder.
“He was very important. You must be able to cover different roles at a big club,” said Baldanzi.
“He also helped me defensively.”
A former Empoli star, Baldanzi has one goal and one assist in 10 appearances across all competitions this season.
