Tommaso Baldanzi could leave Roma on loan during the winter transfer window.
The young attacking midfielder, considered one of the most promising talents in Italian football, is struggling to find space under Claudio Ranieri.
The coach, while appreciating his technical qualities, does not yet see him as ready for a starting role.
To allow him to play regularly, Roma is considering a loan until June.
Serie A clubs such as Empoli, Sassuolo and Torino have shown interest and could offer him the chance to accumulate precious minutes.
The idea of the club, writes Il Corriere dello Sport, is to develop the 21-year-old to bring him back to Trigoria next season with more experience.
Ranieri confirmed that the player is part of the future plans, but that for now the priority is to ensure his development in an environment that can best enhance him.
