Barcelona’s stellar opening to the new campaign has seen the Blaugrana establish themselves as, statistically, the best positioned club across Europe’s leading leagues in 2024/25.

Barca, of course, are fresh off nothing short of a stellar opening to the term.

Looking rejuvenated under the watch of new head coach Hansi Flick, the Catalan giants have racked up a perfect four wins from four, notching 13 goals along the way, whilst conceding just three.

As much, coupled with the hit-and-miss form of the likes of Real and Atlético Madrid, has allowed Barcelona to open up an early four-point advantage atop the La Liga table.

And this marks the biggest gap of any of the leaders in Europe’s top-5 leagues.

In England, two clubs – Manchester City and Liverpool – boast perfect records of nine points from nine, whilst three German sides, in Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Heidenheim, have also remained flawless to date.

Turning attentions towards Italy, and the best record is seven points from an available nine, whilst Paris Saint-Germain, in France, have opened an early two-point advantage over the chasing pack.

As noted by Mundo Deportivo, though, none of these sides can compete with Barca’s four-point lead, another positive early sign for the new-look Blaugrana.
