Barcelona were in a spot of bother at the turn of the year as both Dani Olmo and Pau Victor had been de-registered by La Liga after their initial registrations expired on December 31.
The Blaugrana were left scrambling to get the summer signings re-registered again and relied on a deal involving the sale of VIP seats at Spotify Camp Nou to generate the revenue needed for the same.
After La Liga and the RFEF initially blocked the re-registrations of the pair Barcelona turned to the Higher Sports Council (CSD) of Spain to obtain a precautionary measure that allowed the pair to return to the squad and continue playing.
It must be noted that the order from CSD does not mean that both Olmo and Pau Victor can be in the squad for the rest of the season.
The decision is nothing more than a precautionary measure – a preventive measure to avoid causing excessive damage in the process of making a final decision on the matter.

However, according to Laia Tudel on Catalunya Radio, Barcelona are certain that both Olmo and Pau Victor will be able to stay registered and play throughout the season without any problems.
As reported before, the CSD is supposed to take a final decision on the matter by April 7, meaning both players will certainly stay registered up until that point at the very least.
Even in case of the verdict going against Barça, the club can appeal against it, which would then extend the process until the month of June, allowing Olmo and Victor to see out the season.
La Liga, for its part, continues to oppose the registration of Olmo and Victor, with the organisation even questioning the legitimacy of the company with whom Barcelona struck a deal for the Camp Nou VIP boxes.
Despite the situation being as it is, Barcelona remain confident that the Spanish duo will remain registered and see out the rest of the 2024/25 without any problems.
