Barcelona consider move for Brazilian starlet | OneFootball

The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona are giving consideration to tabling an offer for an up-and-coming Brazilian talent.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who highlight Breno Bidon as the player in question.

Bidon, for his part, has been on the agenda in Catalunya’s capital for some time, with Barcelona’s scouting missions having begun all the way back in January of this year.

The 19-year-old, already an established first-team regular with heavyweights Corinthians, is a midfielder boasting stellar technique and creative flair.

Bidon is capable of lining out either in a no.10 role, or as an 8 in the middle of the park.

And such talents have made the youngster an altogether desirable asset at the aforementioned Barcelona.

As per Sport:

‘This 19-year-old Corinthians player is the most feasible option that Barça has at the moment in the Brazilian market.’

The idea on the part of Deco and co. would be for Bidon, initially, to reinforce the midfield ranks at Barca Atlètic, with a view to a first-team jump once acclimatised.

Though a January swoop is considered unlikely, an offer being tabled for the Brazilian next summer is considered a real possibility.
