With Nico Williams’ transfer to La Liga giants, Barcelona on the rocks, Head Coach Hansi Flick is making a move for Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman and free agent, Ivan Perisic, according to Mundo Deportivo and Croatian outlet, 24sata.

With just over a week until the start of La Liga, Flick is still on the lookout for a winger to join the attack.

Coman and Perisic are top of his wishlist.

Flick faces competition from Arsenal and Tottenham, after PSG have reportedly ended their pursuit of the Bayern and France international, Coman and the Barcelona coach is already readying reinforcements.

Perisic is 35 years old but has recently become a free agent after ending his contract with Hajduk Split.

Nikola Kalinic, the sporting director of the Croatian club, confirmed this afternoon that an agreement has been reached to terminate the contract of the Croatian international.

Perisic signed with Hajduk Split this summer after being released by Tottenham, but disagreements with his coach Gennaro Gattuso and being benched against Lokomotiv Zagreb resulted in an irreparable relationship.

The saga opens up the opportunity for a free transfer to Barcelona.

Reports from 24sata suggest that Hansi Flick has already reached out to Perisic.

The two worked together at Bayern, including a memorable 8-2 win over Barçelona in the 2019-20 Champions League when Perisic was on loan from Inter Milan.

It is expected that Perisic will accept Flick’s offer and is happy to play a squad role.

Perisic has yet to play in La Liga after stints in the Bundesliga, Serie A, and the Premier League.

The interest in Perisic does not dampen Flick’s interest in Coman.

Bayern have expressed their willingness to loan out or sell Coman this season and Barcelona are readying a bid.

The 28-year-old Frenchman is in demand but Flick is confident of a successful reunion in Spain.
