Jules Kounde has emerged as the first-choice right-back for Barcelona, making the position his own even though it is not his natural role.
The French defensive ace has grown in stature this season under Hansi Flick and has become an indispensable figure for the Catalans, featuring in all of their 15 matches across all competitions thus far.
Naturally, the former Sevilla man’s progression has attracted some interest with Liverpool said to be the 25-year-old’s admirers.
Now, according to SPORT, Barcelona ace Kounde is also attracting interest from French heavyweights PSG.
The Parisian giants are always on the lookout for top players and have had their eyes on multiple Barça stars in recent times, with the likes of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha among those being linked.

Now, it is suggested that PSG may hold an interest in taking Kounde back to his homeland as well, even though they have the right-back position locked with Achraf Hakimi.
In fact, Les Parisiens would reportedly be willing to shell out around €100 million for his acquisition.
However, the report states that despite the rumours of interest from PSG, Barcelona are not considering the prospect of parting ways with Kounde.
The 25-year-old has a contract with the La Liga leaders until the summer of 2027 and is a key member in Flick’s blueprint as seen by the amount of on-field action he has seen so far this season.
Kounde, so far, has featured in 15 games for Barcelona this season, and has registered a goal and an assist apiece.
