Although he has been a key player for FC Barcelona for quite a few years now, the midfielder Pedri has taken a clear leap this year and is having the best season of his career so far.

The experience he has accumulated over these years and his improved physicality have turned him into one of the very best players in his position, and with the way he orchestrates the attacking moves, controls the pace of the play, links up with his teammates, and also contributes to the defense with a very good consistency make him one of the most essential pieces of this Blaugrana team.

His improved performances and quality are seemingly also being recognized by the rest of the world. As Diario AS has reported, this is quite clear from how his Transfermarkt valuation has increased by €20 million only since December.

In the latest update of the values of La Liga players by the Transfermarkt portal, the Canary Islander is now valued at €120 million, which is a personal record for him.

With this progress, he is now closer to the most highly valued player in the Barcelona squad, i.e., Lamine Yamal, whose value remained unchanged in this update and still stands at €180 million.

Meanwhile, some other Blaugrana players have also seen their values decline in this update. This is the case with Pedri’s colleague in midfield, Gavi, whose value has dropped by €10 million, from €80 million to €70 million.

Similarly, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, and Andreas Christensen have all also seen a decline of €5 million in their respective values, while Eric Garcia has seen his value decline by €3 million.

Hopefully, these players will be able to recover their values in the coming months, and even go on to get better in this aspect in the coming years.
