The future of Neymar has been a subject of much discussion lately as the forward is on the verge of securing an exit from Al Hilal.
Neymar joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 for a fee of around €90 million. He was signed as the flagship player to promote the Saudi Pro League.
However, Neymar’s time in Saudi Arabia has been marred by injuries, with the forward being only able to feature in seven competitive matches for the club.
As Neymar looks to take a new step in his career, the forward has been offered to FC Barcelona, reports Victor Navarro.
This is not the first time Barça have been offered the chance to sign the Brazilian superstar, who left the club about seven and a half years ago.
During this time, Neymar has been linked with a return to Catalonia multiple times. But the move never quite materialised.

There were times Barcelona were interested but were not able to conjure up the finances while there have been times when Barça simply weren’t interested.
Unfortunately, it appears this may be one of those times where Barcelona once again turn down the opportunity to sign the former forward.
In fact, Barcelona director Deco himself has recently confirmed that the player’s return was not an option.
At 32, Neymar is in the final stage of his career while injuries have not been kind to him over the past few years. Given his hefty salary package, a move for him might not make much sense, from Barcelona’s perspective.
In fact, the report adds that Neymar is aware of his limited prospects of rejoining Barcelona and is currently gearing up for a return to his native Brazil.
The veteran has been linked with a move to his childhood club Santos, but nothing is concrete as of yet. The upcoming days could go a long way in determining the next destination for the superstar forward.
