Graham Hansen, who hasn’t played since October due to recovering from injury, has agreed a new deal until the summer of 2026, while Engen has signed on for two years until 2025.

“I am very happy and proud to be able to stay with the team and club. I will enjoy the years to come,” Graham Hansen reflected “It's like a family. I am a culer, I feel like one of the fans and I hope they feel that we play for them. Saying 'Soy culer' means that.”

Engen, meanwhile, said, "I am really happy to be staying here for another two years. It's still my dream to play for this club and since the moment I arrived I have felt at home.

“Personally, I feel good as a player and I am developing every day. I feel good out on the field and this season I have shown what I can do, I have helped the team and I hope to do that more.”

Even without the injured Alexia Putellas, Barcelona are on course to win a fourth consecutive Spanish title this season. The Catalans have won all 14 Liga F matches they have played and hold a seven-point advantage over second place Levante with a game in hand.

In the Champions League, they finished top of Group D to reach the quarter-finals for the eighth season in a row. They will find out their last eight opponents when the draw is made on 10 February.
