An out-of-favour member of the midfield ranks at Barcelona is attracting transfer interest from a direct La Liga rival.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Pablo Torre as the player in question.
Youngster Torre, for his part, has of course seen his opportunities to contribute gradually decrease at Barcelona over the early months of the season.
After initially playing an important role in Hansi Flick’s squad amid a shortage of options in the middle of the park, the 21-year-old has since been afforded just a solitary start since all the way back in late September.
This comes with the likes of Dani Olmo, Fermín López and Gavi now back fully fit and firing.
Such struggles have given rise to mounting speculation in the media of late, pointing towards a potential January loan exit for Torre.
And one club who would be keen on such a deal, it is understood, come in the form of Getafe.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing Estadio Deportivo:
‘The blue team is looking for reinforcements to escape the delicate zone of the standings and could offer quality minutes to the Cantabrian so that he continues to grow as a footballer in LaLiga.’
The problem for Getafe, however, is that Torre’s intention remains to stay put at Barcelona to fight for his place over the 2nd half of the campaign.
