Barcelona star matches Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in season goals tally | OneFootball

The ongoing excellence being showcased by Barcelona star Raphinha across the season to date has been summed up by a fresh statistic.

Wide-man Raphinha, for his part, is of course fresh off playing his part in another dominant Barcelona victory on Sunday.

After welcoming Valencia to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash, the Blaugrana ran riot, to the tune of an eventual 7-1 triumph.

Raphinha featured from the off in the matchup, and notched one of his side’s seven goals.

And, in the process, the 28-year-old levelled the goals tally of the current favourite to win the next Ballon d’Or – Mohamed Salah.

Egyptian international Salah has been on fire for Liverpool across the season to date, leading the Reds’ charge towards Premier League glory.

All told, Salah has racked up 23 goals and 17 assists across all competitions.

And though he trails in the latter category, Raphinha, following his latest strike, has now joined Liverpool’s attacking talisman in the goalscoring charts for 2024/25.
