La Liga giants Barcelona have on Tuesday seen their links with a long-time rumoured transfer target reignited.

Monaco star Henrique has been linked with a move to Catalunya’s capital on a whole host of occasions in the past, albeit with a deal, to date, yet to come to fruition.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements at left-back for the 2nd half of the campaign, however, Deco and co. are understood to be giving real consideration to a fresh approach.

Henrique is no longer considered a guaranteed starter under Monaco boss Adi Hütter, meaning he could potentially be brought in on loan, with an option to buy in the summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing information from Diario AS.

And this is a formula which Barcelona would be keen on, amid the ongoing financial troubles behind the scenes at the Camp Nou.
