Barcelona are set for an important day ahead as they continue to navigate ongoing challenges surrounding the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.
Both the summer signings were de-registered following Barcelona’s failure to meet the deadline and officially register them as part of the salary structure.
However, today could prove to be an important day for Barcelona as the club is expecting some key inflow from the sale of VIP ticketing to a Saudi fund.
As reported by COPE, Barça will be free to receive €28 million, which is about 40% of the total €70 million revenue expected from the fresh sale.
This should go a long way in helping Barcelona return to the Financial Fair Play ambit set by La Liga, though it remains unclear whether it will be enough to register Olmo and Victor.

The outlet does seem to suggest that both players could be registered following the fresh inflow. In fact, the club will also be able to sign new players from the transfer market.
Should Barça face fresh complications in their bid to register Olmo, despite the inflow, COPE has given an idea as to when exactly Olmo could be available to join other clubs.
In an interesting revelation, it has been reported that Olmo and Victor will not be free agents until exactly 24 hours before the market ends.
It means Barcelona have until January 31 to secure an exit, should things go south. However, it is unlikely there will be any takers if other clubs know the Spaniard could be available for free sooner rather than later.
This is, of course, purely hypothetical and could be a worst-case type of scenario, as far as Barcelona are concerned. The club, for their part, remain confident about registering the two new signings.
