Barcelona find themselves in a challenging position as they go through a legal pathway to secure the registrations of players Olmo and Pau Victor.
Recent developments, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, reveal that Barcelona are prepared to approach ordinary courts for a precautionary measure if the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) does not grant the necessary approvals.
The issue stems from the deregistration of both players on 1 January, following a regulatory deadline tied to financial fair play rules.
Now, Barcelona plan to submit all relevant documentation to La Liga, including information on funds received from a pending investor.
However, if La Liga fails to process the licenses, allowing the RFEF to approve them, the club intends to escalate the matter to ordinary courts.
This legal route aims to secure temporary relief so that the duo can rejoin the squad while pushing for a permanent change in the financial fair play regulations.

Barcelona argue that the current rules, which set an expiry date of 31 December for player registrations, are unfair.
The club believes the deadline should align with the end of the winter transfer window on 2 February.
This adjustment would give clubs the entire month of January to manage player transfers and adjust their salary limits, which is not feasible during December.
According to the club, the current setup puts clubs and players at a disadvantage.
If the precautionary measure is pursued, it is unlikely that Olmo and Victor will be eligible to play in Barcelona’s upcoming matches.
They are expected to miss the Copa del Rey clash against Barbastro this Saturday and could also be unavailable for the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Athletic Club on 8 January.
While the resolution may take a few days, Barcelona remain optimistic that it could be finalised before the Super Cup final on 12 January. If Barcelona progress, they will face either Real Madrid or Mallorca.
