Barcelona youngster trains with first-team ahead of Copa del Rey clash | OneFootball

An up-and-coming member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was spotted in first-team training alongside the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad on Thursday.

That’s according to Barcelona insider Gerard Romero, who points towards Dani Rodríguez as the player in question.

Youngster Rodríguez for his part recently turned heads amongst all of a Barcelona persuasion, courtesy of a remarkable brace whilst lining out for Barca Atlètic against Celta Vigo.

The 19-year-old showcased all of his impressive talents, touch, dribbling, link-up play and an eye for the spectacular, to secure a share of the spoils for the Blaugrana.

And, if the latest word stemming from Catalunya’s capital on Thursday is anything to go by, then it would appear that such exploits did not go at all unnoticed on the part of Hansi Flick and his staff.

This comes amid confirmation that Rodríguez was present in senior training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this afternoon.

This comes with a view to a potential matchday call-up for Barcelona’s weekend Copa del Rey meeting with Barbastro.
