FC Barcelona signed Pau Victor on a permanent transfer last summer after he impressed on loan with Barça Atletic during the 2023/24 season.
The 23-year-old was brought into the first-team squad and was one of the standout performers in pre-season under Hansi Flick.
However, since the campaign started, minutes have been hard to come by for the forward, with the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Ferran Torres ahead of him in the pecking order.
Furthermore, there is also a concern regarding his registration, which expires on December 31, with Barça scrambling to get him and Dani Olmo re-registered.
Aware of the situation, La Liga side Real Betis have shown an interest in signing Pau Victor on loan in the January transfer window, reports SPORT.
Victor is very happy at Barcelona, and the Catalans are pleased with the commitment and performance of the 23-year-old forward.
The Spaniard was aware when Barça signed him that earning regular playing time in the first team would be a very difficult task.

Despite this, Victor is not one to settle for less and aims for the highest possible level. He knows that when he has played, he has delivered – scoring two goals and providing one assist in the 187 minutes he has played in La Liga.
Real Betis highly value Victor’s finishing ability and his versatility to play in two or three attacking positions. The Andalusian club also appreciates his ease in playing a combination-based style.
Los Verdiblancos are hoping to convince the player that moving to their club would increase his value as he would have more minutes at the elite level under Manuel Pellegrini’s guidance, which could benefit his medium-term future.
Barcelona, though, do not want to let him go and would only consider parting with him if the player insisted on leaving, a possibility that is very unlikely at the moment.
Victor, for his part, would only consider a move to Betis if Barcelona actively pushed for the transfer.
Betis are also facing significant difficulties with financial fair play and have very limited room for reinforcements. All things considered, a move appears unlikely.
