Barcelona’s fans have given Kylian Mbappé a new nickname after Real Madrid 4-1 Espanyol | OneFootball

A humorous new nickname for Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has come to the fore online this weekend.

This comes on the back of his latest efforts in front of goal.

Mbappé, for his part, was back in action late last night, featuring from the off in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Espanyol.

After toiling in efforts to find the net over the course of the 90 minutes, the Frenchman was ultimately handed the chance to do as much from the penalty spot in the game’s dying moments.

Mbappé, in turn, converted, taking his tally for the campaign to four goals in Spain’s top-flight.

Three of these, though, have come from 12 yards, leaving just a solitary goal from the summer arrival in Spain’s capital from open play.

And as much has not been at all missed on the part of those of a Barcelona persuasion.

In fact, the Blaugrana’s supporters on Saturday night circulated a new nickname for Mbappé, in the form of:

‘Mbappenalti’
