According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Bayern have also included a buy-back option set at €20m.

The Germany U21 star is expected to arrive at Fiumicino airport in Rome on Sunday and will then have his medical with Lazio, likely on Monday morning.

Though they share a surname, there is no familial connection with the former Milan, Inter and Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic has been on Bayern’s books since he was 13, and has previously represented the youth academy of FC Nürnberg.

In 2023 he became the second-youngest debutant in Bayern’s history, coming off the bench to replace Leroy Sane in a 3-0 Bundesliga win over VfL Bochum as a 17-year-old.

Ibrahimovic would go on to spend the 2023-24 season out on loan in Serie A with Frosinone, scoring one league goal from 16 outings. Though he has grown up in Germany, Ibrahimovic is already more experienced in Serie A than the Bundesliga when it comes to senior football.
