Bayern Munich could be forced to sell Dayot Upamecano (26) during the summer transfer window, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Upamecano’s contract situation with the Bavarian club is precarious. His current deal runs until the summer of 2026 and whilst there have been talks over a renewal, they have reached a dead end. The Frenchman, therefore, goes into the summer transfer window with just one year remaining on his deal.

PSG not interested in Upamecano signing

Bayern Munich are determined not to lose the player on a free transfer, and with no signs of a renewal, it could incite the Bundesliga giants to sell the player at the end of the season. Despite links to Paris Saint-Germain, Foot Mercato understands that the Ligue 1 champions currently have no intention of signing the France international, despite being in the market for a centre-back. PSG are preparing for the possibility of Marquinhos departing but Upamecano is not part of any succession planning.
