A group of Beerschot fans had clearly had enough after the 3-0 home defeat to Sint-Truiden. As reported by Het Nieuwsblad, a group of fans invaded the mixed zone, ending an interview with captain Ryan Sanusi. One fan even managed to get into the home team dressing room. They were eventually removed from the area, but it shows a growing discontent amongst a fan base that has seen their side pick up just one point in eight matches.

Many now expect Dirk Kuyt to be sacked. The game against the Canaries was seen as a must win game for the former Liverpool favourite. His side have conceded 20 goals in their eight Pro League games this season, the highest in the league. Kuyt can feel slightly hard done by, given that reinforcements were slow in coming in. However, the side have been poor on the pitch, especially at the back. Going forward, they also look devoid of quality and a lack a tactical set up of how they will score goals.
