A number of headline members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Wednesday evening taken to social media, to send out celebratory messages.
This comes after Carlo Ancelotti’s troops scraped into the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey in remarkable fashion.
Los Blancos marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to city rivals Leganés for a cup showdown.
After racing out into a two-goal first-half lead, however, some lax defending on Real’s part allowed their hosts to work their way back on level terms.

Introduced off the bench for the game’s closing stages, youngster Gonzalo García popped up in the penalty area to nod home a fine winner deep into injury time.
Real Madrid’s treble hopes, as a result, remain alive and well.
And, as alluded to above, the significance of Gonzalo’s efforts has not gone at all unappreciated on the part of some of the more high-profile members of Carlo Ancelotti’s ranks.
After sitting out for a variety of reasons on Wednesday night, the likes of Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois and Antonio Rüdiger have since taken to Instagram, to celebrate their young teammate’s winner:
