Former Paris Saint-Germain winger Ángel Di María (36) is set to start for Benfica when they host Olympique de Marseille in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final.
There are uncertainties surrounding the fixture, but few regarding Benfica’s lineup. It is currently unclear whether Marseille fans will be allowed inside the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. The Portuguese side have gone tit-for-tat, banning OM fans from attending after it was revealed that French authorities would ban Benfica fans from attending the first leg. Marseille president Pablo Longoria hopes that an agreement can still be found, but he has told RMC Sport that should away fans not be permitted entry, he too will not watch the match.
The Benfica side largely picks itself against Marseille. Roger Schmidt does not have any injury worries to contend with. Former PSG winger Di María will notably start against OM.
