There are an enormous number of sparkling young guns in EA FC 25 and a whole heap of them play at left-back.
While not the most glamorous position on the pitch by any means, having a competent young left-back capable of stifling the likes of Bukayo Saka, Mohamed Salah and Lamine Yamal is absolutely essential.
So, whether you're an Ultimate Team advocate or Career Mode aficionado, here are the best young left-backs (aged 23 or under) in EA FC 25.

Including players who have a starting or alternate position of left-back, Lyon Women's Selma Bacha is the highest rated in this year's EA FC. The French defender, who can also play on the wing, is 86-rated despite being just 23 years of age.
She's not the only female footballer in the top 20, with Atletico Madrid duo Andrea Medina (80) and Rosa Otermin (78) joined by compatriot Paula Tomas (79) of Aston Villa. 23-year-old Sara Agrez of Koln also makes the list with a 79 overall rating.
In terms of the men's game, there are some speedy entrants in the top 20, the highest rated of which is Paris Saint-Germain's Nuno Mendes (83). He's joined by Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga, who is a central midfielder by trade but can feature on the left side of defence.
Destiny Udogie (82), Alphonso Davies (82) and Alejandro Balde (80) will all be popular options on Ultimate Team given their raw athleticism and speed, with the more defensively-minded Josko Gvardiol (83) and Piero Hincapie (81) less sought after.
The Premier League boasts a fair few impressive young left-backs, including Rayan Ait-Nouri (79) and Ian Maatsen (79) of Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa.
