Football League World's Blues Fan Pundit has named Emil Hansson as the most underwhelming player this season.

Birmingham City have been a dominant force in League One in 2024/25, and they have done exactly what they set out to do following relegation from the Championship just under a year ago.
Blues sealed their return to the second tier with a 2-1 win over Peterborough United at the start of April, before the league title was wrapped up just a few days later as Wrexham failed to beat Wigan Athletic.
Despite losing in the Vertu Trophy final, it has been a near-perfect season for the West Midlands outfit in Chris Davies' first year as a manager and they can still break two third tier records for the most points in a campaign (103 set by Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2013/14) and the most wins (32 set by Aston Villa in 1971/72).
However, despite the successes, Birmingham do have a few issues to fix in the summer and some of those who may not have had too much of an impact in League One could be left behind.
Performances across the pitch have been exemplary across the 2024/25 season for Blues, with the likes of Ryan Allsop, Jay Stansfield and Christoph Klarer in particular being shining lights in an unbelievable campaign.
Nevertheless, not everyone has been able to match the high standards set by their teammates, and Davies may have to cut some loose in the transfer window to bring in new stars ready for the Championship.
Football League World has asked their Birmingham Fan Pundit, Mike Gibbs, which player he believes has been the most underwhelming for the League One champions this season.
"I think there are probably a few that have probably under delivered, but certainly not for the whole campaign," he started. "I think a couple of players that come to mind are the likes of Krystian Bielik. We probably expected him to be almost an ever-present, but obviously the form of Ben Davies and Christoph Klarer has sort of kept him out of the team.
"I think Willum Willumsson has very much blown hot and cold. He had a really good run, but I think he's been pretty poor in the last couple of months."
Mike continued: "But I think the one player that you know really hasn't kicked on, and he hasn't been helped with injuries, but he hasn't really made much of an impact for me, would be Emil Hansson. I think it's going to be a big year for him next year.
"He's not really had a proper run in the team, and when he has at least strung a few games together before injuries, he's not ripped things up. So, it’s a big, big year ahead for him next year."
With Emil Hansson's struggles, it is not a surprise to see that Davies is already looking at new players to feature out wide, with Kwame Poku a player that Birmingham are a huge fan of.
The Peterborough ace is out of contract in the summer, and plenty of Championship sides will be trying to get his signature ahead of their rivals, but Blues may just have the advantage.
Football League World revealed on Wednesday that the club's American owners, fronted by Tom Wagner, are set to offer the 23-year-old a stunning £30k-a-week contract if he moves to St. Andrew's once this season comes to an end.
While an incredibly high wage, it is clear to see why Poku may just be able to demand that price, with his performances for the Posh simply incredible at times in the last few years, and he could be the star that Davies needs on his wing.
